With the After Touch feature on the Pedal Keyboard, VA and Organ Flute Voice generators, and auxiliary pedals, players can test their performance.

AWM tone generator

The AWM advanced tone generator incorporates 986 tones. This feature helps sample quality sound sources, including not only wind and string instruments but also folk instruments, choral sounds, and more, providing a rich range of expression. The sound of the piano combines with the rich, deep tones of Yamaha's famous CFX concert grand piano.

Outstanding sharpness

Super Articulation Voices have been included in this instrument to realistically reproduce the characteristic techniques used when playing wind, string and other instruments, in the style of touching the keys and playing the piano.

AEM (Articulation Element Model) feature connection technology

AEM is Yamaha's exclusive sound creation technology. AEM selects optimal sample data from the current performance, then smoothly and naturally reproduces the sounds from those instruments. AEM is also used in some of the Super Articulation (SA) Features.

VA virtual tone generator

This tone generator simulates how sounds are created inside a musical instrument, creating a virtual instrument for sound synthesis. This helps express the changes in tone characteristic of acoustic instruments, while also creating imaginary musical instruments.

Layers

A single tone can be created by layering up to eight different wave types. Not only does this add depth to the sound, but with variations in length and touch, it can give a wide range of expressions when performing.

Organ Flute sounds

This feature helps the piano produce a beautiful, full organ sound. There are three types to choose from (Sine, Vintage, and Euro), with Vibrato, Rotary Speaker, and other classic organ effects that players can also adjust.

Fully reproduces the sound of a band (Orchestra)

The three keyboards can output up to eight sounds at once, allowing players to recreate the rich, dynamic sound of an orchestra.

Effect

When combining Delay and Distortion effects with other effects, it will help create a completely new variety of expressiveness in music. The ELS02/02C model has a wide range of effects, with 16 genres and 308 types giving players the freedom to combine and fine-tune the effects.

Tonal link

Voice Status settings for each tone can be created in "Voice Links" and displayed on a single screen, grouped for each sample in the Voices Section. Because the status settings system is also linked, there is no need to constantly copy each different Segment, providing ease and speed in the creation process.

Adjust the tone

The Tone Control feature can adjust the tone and volume of each tone, allowing players to create original tones.

Note: Voices in Super Articulation Voices cannot be edited.

634 types of rhythm patterns

The built-in tones and rhythms have been sampled from real percussion instruments. From standard samples to samples that reflect today's musical styles, Electone offers a wide variety of rhythm samples that incorporate music from all over the world.

The Rhythm Program allows players to modify existing patterns or create entire original patterns.

Keyboard percussion

Sound and percussion effects can be output directly from the keyboard, allowing percussion sounds to be played from the upper and lower keyboards as well as the pedal keyboard. There are 40 presets per unit available for users to decide which sound they want. Use up to 2 sets at the same time.

Voice Guide supports Electone control (Voice Guide)

When Voice Guidance is activated, Electone provides information from the current screen or operation being performed. This allows blind people to play and use musical instruments.

When using tones, ensure that the USB memory contains the instruction files, and is connected to the devices.

Registration Register

Tone, rhythm, and other settings are made using the Registrations panel or the Electone's front display.

All combinations can be assembled using the one-touch button feature, with 5 Registration storage banks, including 16 built-in memories per bank, allowing users to store up to 80 original Registrations ( 16x5).

Smoothly transition between tones in Registrations using the Registration Memory knob, Footswitch or Registration Sequence.

Additional units can be stored as needed.

Registration Menu

Select sounds from the Registrations feature by musical genre for instant, realistic performances. The custom model offers 566 customizations to choose from, while the standard model includes 506 options. "Simple Registrations" can be used to improvise or provide basic elements when creating original versions of Registrations.

Keyboard and Control System

Only Yamaha can create keyboards with high sensitivity for players.

Custom (FSV) keyboard

Custom models are equipped with this type of keyboard. In addition to the Initial Touch and After Touch features, the pitch can be changed by Horizontal Touch. The sensor detects changes in 0.1mm increments of keystroke pressure, with 127 levels of resolution allowing for a delicate range of expression. Only Yamaha can offer custom keyboards with this feature.

Pedal keyboard

In addition to the original tapping features, pedal keyboards allow technical players to sing legato and play multiple notes at once.

Auxiliary pedal

Auxiliary pedal (Right):

This pedal is used to control volume and add expressiveness to the music. Integrating many left and right functions for the Footswitch feature helps improve efficiency, controlling the player's timing and performance. They can switch between Registrations and adjust the rhythm.

Auxiliary pedal (Left):

This pedal can be used to control pitch sustain, create smoother pitch transitions, and provide rhythmic variation. The pedal is designed to return to its original position when the player stops applying force to the foot.

Knee lever

This lever is operated by the right knee, controlling the Sustain effect, or switching the keyboard between solo and medoly playback when playing chords. Lever can be folded when not in use.

Recording

2 recording functions based on purpose.

The audio recording function is convenient when you want to play music on your computer or burn it to a CD. The MDR function allows recording keyboard tones for different playing passages, as well as changing tones and re-recording selected parts of a previous recording.
