The Live Custom's oak shell style is inspired by Yamaha's flagship PHX and Absolute Hybrid Maple drum kits, which feature a thick phenolic sheet sandwiched between two oak panels. Always a pioneer in oak drums, Yamaha has dramatically improved the new Live Custom drum line by highlighting its projection and impact.
Pure Lug
The shell has Yamaha's own pure Lug. The sophisticated design gives the drum a premium feel.
Q-Type Strainer
The heavy-duty Q-type tensioner is powerful while providing solid, stable and smooth operation, along with snare adjustment and replacement.
