The Custom Shop 000-18 1937 offers players the sound quality of the Authentic series combined with the value of a reliable guitar.
Considered a cornerstone of performance and sound, Martin's highly regarded 1937 models set the standard for generations of musical instruments that followed.
This guitar features a classic glossy Adirondack Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, scalloped bracing, hidden glue and fabric strip construction, and an adjustable neck that recalls the shape, The feel and sound of some of the best guitars ever made.
Custom Shop 000-18 1937 Stage 1 Aging uses lightly aged paint. Stage 1 Aging lacks the wear and tear of an old instrument, but instead features light checking inspired by rare guitars stored for decades. It bears the marks of time but does not show the wear and tear that is common on heavily used guitars.
