Through years of research and development, the first baritone saxophone in Yamaha's custom lineup sets new standards in baritone saxophone design. The YBS-82 meets the needs of players who are very concerned with tone, adding mid-range and high-range brightness to the instrument's rich baritone bass.

Not just a low-range instrument, the YBS-82 also has the flexibility to take on a solo role.

Stock YBS-82UL.

Newly designed Custom C1 neck. It has good feedback in sound production, allowing players to control the sound without losing the "core" of the sound.

Neck receiver YBS-82UL.

The custom neck receiver lets you choose between three options (C, E, V) and six finish options to help you find your ideal sound.

Ergonomic key layout (YBS-82/62/480).

The new key layout introduced on the YBS-82/62/480 prioritizes ergonomics. It can be played comfortably despite its larger size, resulting in superior playability.
