The CP88 features an 88-key triple-touch, Graded Hammer, natural wood (NW-GH) keyboard with synthetic ivory and Ebony keytops – the fastest stage piano action on the market with a single company design with over 100 years of experience making acoustic pianos for the most demanding professional musicians. Natural wood keys provide the weight and response that pianists expect. When adding different weights, or "grading", the keyboard recreates the feel of piano hammers: heavy at the low end and light at the high end. The synthetic ivory and Ebony keytops are lightly porous, adding grip to the keys. This feature helps maintain precision during long performances or practice sessions. Finally, a third sensor allows for grand piano-like key repetition, making it possible to re-articulate notes without Release the key completely.
