This is a model designed for beginners. However, unlike other models in the F/FX line, this model has a smaller designed soundboard, suitable for women, children or people with small arms.

F/FX Series models include guitars F310, Yamaha F370, model FS100C and FX370C, FX310All. (The letter C means cutaway and the letter X means that model has EQ).
Features of Yamaha FS100C.
- Wood quality and sound guaranteed.
The top is made from solid Spruce wood with good sound transmission, combined with a larger designed soundboard, resulting in a quite deep, warm sound.
- Small design soundboard.
In contrast to Yamaha's acoustic models, the FS100C has a rather small soundboard design, making it suitable for women, children or people with small arms. However, this design is not a strong point for the sound of the instrument.
