The Hummingbird Studio is an upgraded version of the original 1960s model with a Spruce top, Mahogany back and neck, 18:1 Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, traditional binding and unique Hummingbird anti-scratch pads. Features, integrated Fishman Sonitone EQ.
First introduced in 1960, the Hummingbird Pro quickly became a classic thanks to Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, who used the Hummingbird to create rhythms for peak Stones hits like “Satisatis ”, “Paly With Fire” and “Under My Thumb”. There are also plenty of classic photos as Keith used the Hummingbird in shows like Exile on Main Street, Goat's Head Soup, and Sticky Fingers. Today the Hummingbird is still a go-to acoustic guitar for rockers like Noel Gallagher, Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock when they need a smooth guitar with a “rustic” tone full of personality.
The Hummingbird Pro has a solid Spruce top. Spruce is a rich and complex tonewood, and the longer you play, the better it sounds. The body and neck are made of selected Mahogany wood. The Hummingbird Pro neck features a classic SlimTaper D profile and is 24.75 inches long and is attached to the body with a hinge.
Hummingbird Pro has a Roosewood bridge with the Shadow TM ePerformer TM pickup system, so you can freely perform on stage or record music with the best sound quality.
