The S2 Standard 24 Satin is a new approach to a timeless classic. The PRS Standard was first introduced in 1987, evolving from all-mahogany guitars. The S2 Standard 24 Satin takes that classic platform and reimagines it for the modern player.
While the glossy satin finish and shield-mounted electronics will help keep your guitar looking good, PRS's HFS and Vintage Bass pickups are perfectly covered. On stage or in the studio, the sound of the satin-finished Mahogany body will make you shine.
Every guitar he made was inspected and tested by Paul Reed Smith himself, and over time he changed slightly in design until the PRS design emerged that we know and love today.

The PRS S2 Standard 24 Satin combines a Mahogany body and neck with a Rosewood neck. Powered by a flexible pair of 85/15 S2 HFS humbuckers custom-wounds, produce clear, crisp sound and even heavy, thick crunch. There's push/pull coil tapping on the tuning fork for even more tonal versatility, and the PRS tremolo comes with a set of keys for tuning, turning, and dive-bombing that you can drop in while still maintaining maintain stability.
