A work of art in collaboration with Leica Camera - Andy Summers Monochrome Strat is an inspiring celebration of art. Crafted by Masterbuilder Dennis Galuszka, this Strat is animated by monochrome photographs that Summers took with his Leica. Combining two artistic worlds: photography and music, this collaborative effort not only showcases amazing photography but also celebrates the masterful craftsmanship and style that can only be found at the Fender Custom Shop.
The body is made of two pieces of selected alder wood with a NOS urethane finish, the neck is a solid, stable piece of quarter-sawn maple, and a comfortable '63 "C" shape. 7.25" curved fingerboard, 21 classic medium keys, red camera inlay dot at key 15. Three Custom Shop '60s Strat pickups with authentic Fender tones are connected via Vintage Modified #2 wiring and controlled via via cool Leica-style tone and volume knobs. Other details include Summers' signature on the neck plate, custom Clear pickguard, American Vintage synchronized bridge, bone nut and wing string tree. Includes high-end hardcase, custom strap and COA certification.
