In collaboration with renowned watchmaker Roland G. Murphy (RGM), this unprecedented instrument is a symbol of time with a unique watch theme displayed throughout its many aspects. decoration of the guitar.
The top is crafted from Bearclaw Engelmann Spruce and features an aluminum pattern with Guilloché detailing – a delicate process of cutting geometric patterns in the metal, which also appears on the stainless steel adjustment buckles. rusty.
The guitar's back is made from rare Brazilian Rosewood, inlaid with beautiful clock gears cut from Reconstituted stone, Pearl, Bloodwood, Hawaiian Koa and Ebony.
The inlays on the soundboard are equally spectacular with Pearl, Birdseye Maple, Ebony and Flamed Hawaiian Koa, and anti-scratch stickers with Pearl inlaid clock gears.
Another unique decorative detail is the three-strand Pearl strip that runs the length of the side, a reference to CF Martin Sr.'s original Spanish-inspired instruments.
Each guitar comes with a watch specifically designed by RGM with details from the D-200 's design and bearing the same serial number as the guitar.
Each guitar comes housed in an enclosed Zero Manufacturing premium aluminum case with an integrated hygrometer that allows monitoring of the case's internal environment without having to open the case.
Martin only accepts orders for a limited quantity of 50 trees worldwide and takes at least 1 year to complete from the date of order.
