Epiphone Lespaul Standard 60s
The Les Paul™ Standard 60s models from Epiphone's new Inspired by Gibson™ Collection recreate the sound of 1960s Les Pauls. Featuring a classic Mahogany body with a Maple top, Grover® clef, and equipped with ProBucker humbuckers™ with CTS® rheostat. Epiphone's connection to Les Paul began in 1940 when Les built one of the world's first "solid body" electric guitars while working all night at the first Epiphone factory in Manhattan. Les' first solid body guitar, nicknamed "The Log", would go on to inspire the Les Paul Standard, which many consider to be the greatest electric guitar ever made.
Pickups ProBucker™ humbucker
Epiphone's Pich-up ProBucker™ system has become one of the most talked about pickups in the industry. It has convinced professionals, classicists and even luthiers to have worked with the best vintage models from the late 50s and early 60s. Epiphone ProBucker™ humbuckers are a no-brainer. a combination of 18% Nickel Silver and the same alloy used by Gibson at the Kalamazoo factory when the humbucker was first invented. The use of Nickel Silver stabilizes the current and the sensor faces are transparent and sharper. And these inductors (bobbins) are only used on ProBucker™ the size and shape of the industry gold standard, Gibson humbuckers. The Epiphone ProBucker™ Pickup also features sand-cast Alnico II magnets, high-quality 4-core conductors, and vacuum wax annealed to eliminate microacoustics.
