Swedish metal band Meshuggah is one of the most innovative representatives of the genre. Their guitarists Fredrik Thordendal and Marten Hagstrom are considered pioneers of the 8-string guitar with their "Djent" sound, they shaped an entire generation of guitarists. To create this unique sound, the two always rely on guitar models made by Ibanez. The M80M is manufactured in Indonesia and introduced by Ibanez in 2017.
