The Taylor Bayby is a compact Dreadnought that's ¾ the size but produces an amazing sound for its size. The instrument is suitable for you with a small body, easy to carry for travel. This can be considered as Taylor's ideal model for beginners to learn.
The top is made of Mahogany Wood.
Mahogany is known for its solid, well-balanced tone with a strong mid-range often used as a guitar base (Soundboard).
The back and sides are Sapele wood.
Sapele is actually a word for pressed wood, with different models, the guitar is made with different types of Sapele wood. It has the characteristics of being resistant to moisture, weather, keeping the sound balanced and cheaper than solid wood.
