Using the DTX-PAD snare drum feels good, you can play head, open rimshot and closed rimshot in 3 zones for an authentic snare drum feel. This model also has 3 zones for ride, crash and 2 zones for hi-hat.
The drums and percussion voices in the DTX502 module help you sound your best with advanced practice tools and easy song recording that you'll feel improve over time.
The USB port allows control of the VSTi software and lets you import files.
The DTX502 has nearly twice the ROM and 250 more voices than previous generations, featuring new drum and cymbal samples from leading VST developers, optimized for DTX. Voices inherited from other DTX modules have also been updated to increase playability.

Using laser analysis technology, Yamaha has precisely tuned the trigger on the DTX502 series for a natural feel with laser precision. You can also upgrade to more advanced features with higher models like cymbal suppression.
3-Zone Cymbal with “blocking” feature provides realistic expression possibilities
The DTX532K also features a professional 3-Zone cymbal plate, which can express different sounds. These cymbals have a very good feel and low noise, which is very important when used for practice.
