The Tama Imperialstar Series drum set can meet the needs of most drummers at an extremely affordable price. To personalize players, Tama has many different configuration and Finish options, carefully processed drum shells and durable Hardware sets.

The Imperialstar, while appealing to beginner drummers due to its price, also impresses experienced players due to its great sound in every genre of music from jazz and R&B to rock.

This drum line still retains many of the high-end features found in the lines: Silverstar, Superstar and Starclassic. In addition, this line has been further improved with a wood finish on the bass drum rim in the same color as the shell, a newly designed Tom holder and dual bracing hardware.
