TAMA's Accu-Tune ring features many innovations from high-tech materials.

The high-tech GFRP material offers both lighter weight and faster, more stable adjustment than traditional metal rings. Because the Accu-Tune ring uses tension pins instead of hooks and T-bars, changing the drum and packing is easy. A special groove at the bottom of the ring makes connecting the pedal easy and secure even when the bass drum is angled.

The shell of the drum is made from 100% Poplar wood.
