Accu-Tune Hoop.

TAMA's Accu-Tune Ring has it all. The high-tech GFRP material offers both lighter weight and faster, more stable adjustment than traditional metal rings. Because the Accu-Tune ring uses tension pins instead of hooks and T-bars, changing the drum and packing is easy. A special groove at the bottom of the ring makes connecting the pedal easy and secure even when the bass drum is angled.

Case made from 100% Poplar wood.

Imperialstar's case is made from 6 layers of natural Poplar wood 8mm thick. This type of wood has been used for drum shells for over 50 years. It provides a full, warm tone.

The drum rim is made with high precision.

The bearing edge of the drum is one of the most important components that create the sound of the drum. Tama's advanced edge-cutting process provides extremely precise bearing edges - allowing the TAMA case to resonate clearly and fully, while providing a wide range of adjustability, sensitivity and response.
