The unique tone of President Series Deluxe drums has found a new home with the ever-expanding Pearl Drummers family. The President's premium classic style also comes with the option of adding 24" and 26" bass drums (both with old-style "Gullwing" spurs and shell-mounted cymbal stands) as well as additional toms and floor toms.

A DRUM MELODY SHAPES AN ERA.

The President Series Deluxe drums mark the return of the Pearl drums remade from Standard Ply, six-ply 7.5mm thick Lauan wood. Its explosive tonal sophistication provides a profound power that can be used in any situation.

6-layer Lauan wooden case, 7.5mm thick.

Drawing from Pearl's drum production experience, Lauan was the source of the original "MIJ" (Made in Japan) sound. This deeper-toned wood was the basis of thousands of drum shells produced by Mitsuo Yanagisawa at Pearl's Chiba, Japan drum factory starting in 1961. Loud yet soft, the Lauan has a deep sound , strong.

Bearing edge 45 degrees.

The bearing edge is the only part of the shell that the drum face contacts. Pearl's bearing edge has a standard 45-degree bevel on the inside. The top edge of the drum provides the perfect combination of resistance, warmth of sound, and sustain through minimal contact with the drumhead.

To get President Series Deluxe drum performance ready, each set features hardware elements selected to provide a classic appeal as well as ensure the drum set's tone is preserved.

Each of these hardware components not only supports the tuning and functionality of individual drums, but also the overall sound of the entire President Series drum set.

BSL100 Lugs.

Introduced in 1969 as the "C043" for Pearl's professional drum kits (including the President Series), it has since been dubbed "The Battleship Lug" by collectors for its angular styling its edge. The new BSL100 has the same striking styling and self-adjusting design, but with a stronger molding.

T-Handle Bass Drum Rods.

For classic manual adjustment and a sleek classic look, Pearl's T090 T-handle bars join Pearl's Claw via a small extension sleeve (T066). The contact points of each Claw are lined with felt to protect the paint layer of the bass drum rim.

SuperHoop II.

Rugged triple-flanged with an optimal thickness of 2.3 mm, each is stamped with identification and built for precise tuning and safe playing without hindering the overall resonance of the case .

LB75 bracket.

Featuring an embossed Pearl logo, internal clip function for height adjustment.

"Gullwing" drum leg.

When using the LB75 stand, each leg has a safety lock at the corner.

The finish is classically inspired.
