6-layer shell made from the finest American Maple wood with excellent resonance and clear tone. This is made possible by a significantly reduced shell thickness (28%) that produces greater purity of sound and results from the use of the exclusive Superior Shell Technology (STT) from Pearl, in which the wood layers Individual maple is cross-glued in a special process.
Superior Shell Technology is a technology for joining wood layers using temperature and pressure along with processing the joints, helping the glue penetrate deep into the wood grain for a drum durability of up to several decades. This technology gives sound better resonance. With the right tuning, drum kits with SST technology will sound better than conventional drum kits.

The bass drum is equipped with SP30 feet, Floor Tom with Pearl's LB40 feet. Stylized molded bass drum claws and beautiful bridge-style CL-lugs reduce shell contact and improve shell performance, thereby allowing full sound development in any situation, due to optimal resonance of shell.
