The MXR Bass Preamp combines a pristine bass amplifier with a studio-quality Direct Out in the same 90-gauge Phase box, delivering clean sound without taking up valuable pedalboard space. Use the Preamp to add new tones to old passive bass, make any amplifier sound sweeter, or add a little spice to an individual song. Just input the numbers however you want and send them straight to the preamp "home" or EQ "station" with the built-in Direct Out
