Integrated Solution for Lively Live Sound.
Musicians, artists, spokespeople and club executives know very well the importance of a high-quality sound system with tailored characteristics and individual performances to create. their own sound. In terms of convenience and important criteria, a system based on Yamaha's EMX series electric mixers is absolutely the right choice. In one integrated, handheld devices you have a mixer to mix and equalize mics and musical instruments and sources, effects to refine and refine your sound, and power to drive the main and monitor loudspeakers. But not nearly all - The Yamaha EMX-series P mixer offers a wide range of features that allow you to mix, process and distribute your sound with maximum quality and creative control. ..and of course the Yamaha sound is unmatched.
The package makes it easy to operate and quick to install.
EMX-series mixers integrate mixers, power amps, graphic EQs, and digital effects into a portable, one-piece unit. No complicated setup or wiring - just plug and play. The entire system is optimized to easily get great sound wherever you are.
Exceptional sound through meticulous detail and design choices
The choice of details is crucial to achieving the best sound, and Yamaha doesn't need to put too much effort into selecting the best details. For example, the key headphone amplifier circuitry uses a special noiseless chip resistor on a thin chromic film for precise, noiseless sound reduction. Care must be taken when arranging the floor for the system as well as the general circuitry to ensure that no unwanted noise or interference that degrades the sound quality is introduced.
Intuitive, practical controls and connections
Choice of mixers offering 12 inputs in all with versatile configurations: channels 1 to 4 are mono headphone or wired inputs, channels 5/6 and 7/8 can be headphone/ line or stereo line input, and channels 9/10 and 11/12 are stereo line inputs. Connectors are also provided for connecting the power amplifier and external effects processors. Stereo channels 9/0 and 11/12 include phono jacks for direct connection of CD players or other music players, to applied 3-band channel equalizers on request. There are also two 7-band graphic equalizers used to connect speakers and/or room feedback for optimal sound.
SPX effects available
Yamaha's SPX effects are widely recognized as the best effects for both recording and live sound. The EMX series electric mixers have an inbuilt SPX effect processor, delivering unique effects quality with 32-bit processing. 16 effects programs with adjustable parameters deliver top-quality digital reverb, echo, delay, modulation, and distortion effects.
High efficiency power amplifier
In order to make the EMX series consoles light and easy to handle, the power amplifier used had to be extremely efficient while still providing outstanding sound quality. In fact, the EMX power amplifier is remarkably efficient, powerful, with low power consumption and heat generation. At the same time they deliver outstanding sound quality with excellent transient response and low distortion. Power output from all models is quite impressive: 500W + 500W from the EMX512SC, 300W + 300W from the EMX312SC, and 220W + 220W from the EMX212S.
Compact, practical design
Airflow can be arranged when the mixer is rack mounted, and direct sunlight outdoors can raise temperatures to dangerous levels. The EMX series mixers feature a custom-designed pneumatic cooling system for each model to ensure reliable operation and high performance even under extreme conditions.
Certain safety and practical standards
Mixers using the EMX-series not only meet global electronic emission and safety standards, but they also rely on more than 60 rigorous Yamaha internal tests to ensure the highest possible level of reliability.
Compressed air keeps the system cool even in extreme conditions
Air flow can be affected when an electric mixer is mounted on a rack, and direct sunlight when left outdoors can cause temperatures to rise to dangerous levels. Mixers using the EMX-series feature an air-cooling system that has been custom designed for each model to ensure safe and highly efficient operation even under difficult conditions.
New compressor circuitry on EMX512SC and EMX312SC
Each mono input channel on the EMX512SC and EMX312SC features advanced compressor circuitry that helps you achieve ideal compression at the touch of a button. Setting the optimal compression for a source is often a complex process, but this unique compressor makes it easy to achieve "acoustic" compression for enhanced guitar or vocal sounds.
Practical utility features
Yamaha's FCL (Feedback Channel Positioning) system makes it easier than ever to locate and exclude feedback. The FCL indicator provided on each input channel shows channel feedback, so you can visual recognition and level or EQ adjustment as required. Another useful feature is a fallback switch that mutes channels 1 through 8, so after listening back, for example, or between setups you can mute the performer's inputs 1 to 8 without no need to change lever settings, while stereo inputs 9 to 12 remain active playing background music. There's even a footswitch coupler that accepts optional FC5 footswitches for efficient on/off control.
Handling Yamaha speakers
The Yamaha speaker processing makes it an optimal match with Yamaha's Concert Club series, BR series or AX series speakers, for clear, unambiguous simulations that deliver sound with maximum efficiency.
Power amplifier mode selector
Power amplifier mode switching allows the internal power amplifier to be set up in several ways. The simple switch setup allows you to configure the control output and main output ideal for your application.
Optional mounting hardware
The EMX series mixers can be conveniently rack mounted using the optional RK512 rack mount kit.
