The Ibanez RG550 is equipped with 3 extremely powerful Ibanez pickups: V7 located at the top, S1 located in the middle and V8 located at the bottom. All three pickups produce great power, as well as sharp, clear response. The HSH pickup combination allows for an intense sound from the v8, a warm, big sound from the V7 and consistent clarity from the single coil S1.
