Josh Smith is a virtuoso blues-rock guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer hailed around the world as a master guitarist. With his signature blend of blues, rock and jazz into vibrant original songs, Smith is known for his explosive live performances at the Grammy Awards and Kennedy Center Honors with Mick Jagger, Raphael Saadiq. FLATV1 is an electric guitar model launched by Ibanez in 2021. This guitar is manufactured in Japan by FujiGen, FLATV1 is inspired by the Fender Telecaster.

Josh's signature pickup from Seymour Duncan is classic and powered to the exact tonal specifications of the bridge, the pickup is built using a combination of various Alnico magnets to best suit your needs. tone and can capture a guitar sound that is both appropriately bright and rich.

The In-Tune saddle was co-designed by Gotoh®/Ibanez.
The saddles are equipped with grooves that actively prevent each string from slipping sideways. The saddle also has rounded edges and deeper grooves on the 1st and 6th strings, which means less saddle tilt is needed to adjust string height and it's easier to achieve equal string spacing. Additionally, the saddle is designed with pre-calculated "intonation points" where the strings touch and allow each string to maintain correct intonation. The 10.5mm string spacing allows for easy string selection and is made of titanium for crystal clear sound.
