Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge.

The T1802 tremolo features a titanium saddle and machined steel tremolo block for quick response, thick bass, and rich highs. The 10.5mm string spacing allows for easy selection when changing strings and the structure of attaching the swingarm to the bridge is also easier.

Dyna-MIX 9 Switching System w/ Alter Switch.

The Dyna-MIX9 offers nine sound variations and can be easily switched between humbucker and single coil modes with just a mini switch. One mode can even simulate a humbucker sound from a combination of 2 single coils.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickup system.

Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ delivers moderate power through an Alnico-5 magnet to selectively retain fundamental clarity. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is adjusted evenly, and combined with a variety of effects pedals.

Stainless steel frets.

Stainless steel frets offer excellent corrosion resistance, and the wide, tall fretboard provides quick response, good articulation when playing chords, and clear tone on single notes.

S-TECH Maple fingerboard with black dot finish.

The uniquely processed S-TECH provides a superior sustain and a well-balanced tone and rich sustain. To achieve neck comfort, both sides of the fretboard are finished with a smooth curve.

C-shaped Maple S-TECH Oval neck.

Specially treated, S-TECH increases stability, durability and water resistance and ability to withstand temperature changes. The neck of the guitar is sealed with a layer of oil paint to help create the flat and smoothest feel.

Convenient beveled side edges.

The shallow side contour and large upper forearm contour help the body naturally fit the beginner, thus increasing playing comfort. The AZ body has a deep waist and different radii on each curve of the body, making it easy to play in either a standing or sitting position.

GOTOH MAGNUM LOCK w/ HAP (Height Adjustable Post).

Ibanez Prestige AZ2204B uses GOTOH® MAGNUM LOCK® which is so famous for its stable adjustment ability. Its HPA® allows adjustment of the string posts for the proper tension of each string.

Muminlay side dot overlay.

The luminescent Lumilay side dot markers help players easily see the fret position markers when performing on a dark stage.
