The AS2000 is part of the Artstar line, which first launched in 2021 as a model made by FujiGen in Japan. The beautifully crafted AS2000 captivates Jazz and Blues artists with its brooding, airy tone and luxurious sound.

Anigre Top, Back and Sides.
The body of the Ibanez AS2000 is made from Figured Anigre, including the top, back and sides. This material not only has a beautiful wood grain but also produces a rich and controlled midrange sound in the high frequencies.

3-Piece African Mahogany / Roasted Maple Neck.
Many modern high-end guitars are equipped with Roasted Maple necks, the AS2000 is no exception, featuring a unique 3-ply Roasted Maple / African Mahogany construction. Through Ibanez's special 'S-TECH' heat treatment, the process removes all natural moisture from the wood.

Excellent playability.
The comfortable AS Artstar neck shape makes complex chords and tones simple and a joy to play. Especially with the extremely smooth fretboard handling, the Ebony wooden fingerboard is equipped with moderate frets for easy control.
Proprietary Super 58 Pickups.
Ibanez's AS2000 Artstar is equipped with a pair of medium-output Super 58 humbuckers that are suitable for jazz, blues and even rock. Equipped with an Alnico magnet, the Super 58 has a clean, clear sound with a well-rounded tone perfect for warm extended chords. The innovative 'Tri-Sound' switch also gives each humbucker three different sounds, expanding the tonal versatility of the instrument.
