XM tie rod for AAM series.
After more than two years of testing and prototyping, Ibanez developed exclusive XM bracing specifically for Advanced Auditorium guitar bodies to create top-notch sound for the stage and studio. Carefully designed XM scalloped bracing effectively transmits string vibrations from the bridge to the body. This bracing provides a wide dynamic range and excellent response, with a light mid-range for better tonal balance, while the treble has the clarity of a steel string but retains the warmth of a nylon string.

AIRport design.
Through extensive research and development, Ibanez designed the AIRport with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them out of precisely positioned sound holes. As a result, players can follow the sounds they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.

These wire pins are a real advantage over the old styles. Advantage™ wire pins are easier to remove and install than standard pins, and the special bulb-shaped pin head makes them easy to grip and also prevents them from being pushed in too far.
