Stronger and denser than Sitka spruce, Adirondack spruce offers wide dynamics as well as articulation and smoothness at high volumes. Adirondack spruce wood bracing further differentiates the sound and unique response. Famously used on Martin's classic Dreadnaughts of the 1930s.
