Derived from Yamaha's years of experience and expertise in developing drum hardware, our all-new flagship hi-hat rack sets a standard that is second to none.

Inheriting DNA from the flagship FP9 foot pedal series, the HHS9D features the same distinctive mirrored foot pedal combined with elegant blue accents.

While maintaining Yamaha's legendary ease of use, various onboard tuning mechanisms allow musicians to customize settings to their personal preferences. High-quality sound and usability help take every drummer's performance to the next level.

Ball Bearing and Millor finish.

Integrated ball bearings in the upper and lower sections of the Yamaha Direct Link System, as well as the hinge sections, ensure smooth foot action combined with a mirror-polished footboard.

Legs rotate independently

The twin braced legs move freely individually, allowing the stand to be set up in any desired position. When properly positioned, it provides outstanding stability for all drum operations in every possible situation.

Rotate to set Hi-hat Clutch

With the LC9, the new hi-hat clutch has been adapted to the HHS9D, allowing the clutch nut to be attached with just a simple twist. While the use of harder felt directly improves the sound significantly, the double locking nut actively prevents unintended loosening during performance.

Additionally, an additional protective plate covers the hi-hat shaft.

Die-cast metal Hi-Hat Cymbal base

Besides using a harder felt, the metal cymbal base also ensures a crisp and rich foot-close sound. Like our HS1200 series, angle adjustment nuts with anti-loosening mechanism and cymbal protection plate are also included.

360 Memory Lock

The new and uniquely shaped memory clamp not only allows for vertical positioning but can also be fixed in the direction of rotation, ensuring consistent placement of the angle adjustment nut.

Alloy tension adjustment dial

The spring tension adjustment dial is made of durable metal with a guide mark on top, making it easy to determine the direction of rotation even during a performance while also confirming the tension intensity with an indicator.

One-touch footboard angle adjustment

The footboard angle can also be freely adjusted by simply loosening a single bolt.

The heel is low and the heel spike is anti-slip

Like the FP9 and highly requested by our artists, we've incorporated a low heel design for much smoother playability. The heel also has spikes similar to the FP9, enhancing overall stability.

Throw and Go Baseplate

For easier transport, the base plate can be fixed in a raised position. To prevent lateral movement of the footboard, a connection plate made of high-strength metal supports the aluminum base plate. Enjoy the perfect combination of power and lightweight design.
