D-45S Authentic 1936 Aged is based on the extremely rare large-bodied D-45 once displayed in the Martin museum. It has a Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, an aged Adirondack Spruce top and Style 45 details.
A newly built masterpiece that looks like it's been in play for 80 years, the D-45S Authentic 1936 Aged includes all the goodies infused into Martin's Authentic Series, like hidden glue construction and letter braces X by hand. It also boasts a VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM (VTS) to recreate the sound of a highly sought-after classic Martin, both in tone and appearance.
