1. DREADNOUGHT . STYLE

The original dreadnought shape was invented by CF Martin, one of the big names in acoustic guitar, and is named after an old British battleship.

It has rounded shoulders and a neck that usually connects to the barrel around the 14th fret. Dreadnought achieves the most even balance of mass, size and playability, and for this reason it has been used by almost every big name artist you can think of.

Dreadnought is popular largely because it has a loud, balanced sound that is suitable for a wide variety of musical styles. In addition, the drum is large enough to both create a powerful sound and not be too bulky for most users.

There are really many models that the writer wants to show you, there are many famous brands such as Martin, Gibson... using this shape. For example Martin has the following model:

2. SIGNATURE GUITAR PARLOUR

The Parlor guitar has the smallest body of any standard acoustic guitar. In terms of shape, the Parlor guitar is similar to a miniature classical guitar in some ways. It also has rounded shoulders, with a relatively deep cutout, and similar bottom body proportions. However, unlike classical guitar, this is a type of guitar that uses metal strings.

One of the typical features of this type of guitar is the neck, which intersects the body at the 12th fret, making it more compact.

The sound of a parlor is often described as very distinct, and sometimes has 'mid-range' intervals that result in a sharper sound. As a result, parlors are commonly used by fingerstyle and blues musicians.

    3. GRAND AUDITORIUM GUITAR STYLE (Defective Shape)

Designed by Bob Taylor in 1994 to describe the Style 14, this Taylor shape is another all-around option.

The Grand Auditorium is wider than a Martin dreadnought in the lower section, roughly as deep but with a narrower waist.

Designed to be the most complete, the Grand Auditorium's silhouette is the perfect blend of size, shape, volume and comfort. It is the value of the guitar that has made the biggest pop star on the planet - Taylor Swift love it and use it to tour everywhere.

      4. JUMBO GUITAR STYLE

When Martin launched the dreadnought, it was considered a big guitar. Then, in 1936, Gibson crossed the line with the SJ-200 guitar. It beat Dreadnought's record for size. As a metal-string guitar, a Jumbo typically has rounded shoulders, a very tight waist, and a very wide bottom body (the body is below the waist). The neck has similar characteristics to the Dreadnought.

Jumbos are widely known for their country music (not difficult to understand because the SJ-200 was inspired by cowboy singer Ray Corrigan), but today it is used in many different popular genres.

Big sound equals big size, but Jumbos are often chosen for their excellent projection, making it the ideal guitar for strummers.
