Based on the Superstar of the past, the classic TAMA T-shaped badge and streamlined low-mass single lugs evoke the simpler state of the art of the 70s, while the clever Star-Mount system 100% Maple wood shell and thinner.

Visually stunning, the Gloss Lacebark Pine finish features an intricate woodgrain pattern that gives this set a distinctive visual appearance.

Power Craft II drumhead.

All Superstar "Power Craft II" drumheads guarantee great sound.

The silencer ring on the bass drum head eliminates the need for additional internal mufflers.

100% Maple wood case.

Depending on the different Finish layer, there will be different shell structures.

- Exotic Finishes:

• Tom Tom, Floor Tom, Snare Drum: 4 layers of Maple wood + 2 outer layers of Lacebark Pine wood, 5mm thick.

• Bass Drum: 6 layers of Maple wood + 2 layers of Lacebark Pine outside, 7mm thick.

- Lacquer Finishes and Unicolor Wrap Finishes:

• Tom Tom, Floor Tom, Snare Drum: 6ply, 5mm thick

• Bass drum: 8 layers, 7mm thick

Tama's highest priority when producing the Superstar drum line was sound. The full, powerful character and rich resonance of the Superstar drum is achieved by using carefully selected Maple shells and attentive focus on the shell molding and bearing edge shape.

Bass drum rim holder.

The hook design keeps the drum stable and secure.

These hooks help stabilize the wooden rim on the bass drum and have a built-in rubber lining that helps protect the wood and maintain stability even during extended performances.

Equipped with a sturdy, beautiful rack system.

The TAMA L-Rod and Omnisphere tom rack systems have earned acclaim from drummers for over 25 years. These systems offer easy positioning, maximum flexibility, stability and greater acoustics than standard designs that penetrate inside the housing which can inhibit resonance.

Low-Mass Lugs.

Newly designed separate Lugs for the Superstar Classic series.

By reducing the surface area that the lugs occupy on the case, you achieve a structure that does not hinder the resonance of the case.

Star-Mount System.

Tama pays great attention to the sound resonance effect of the Star - Mount system.

The Star - Mount system was developed to increase the resonance of the drum. This new mounting system provides support at four points on the side rim of the drum.

The frame eye bolts slide left and right so it is possible to prevent the eye bolts from touching each other even when installing two toms close together.
