Cordoba Fusion 12 Natural Guitar - Fusion Series. Bridging the gap between the worlds of classical guitar and modern guitar.
The Fusion 12 Natural is slightly thinner than standard, combined with a “Radiused Fingerboard” fingerboard that gives the Fusion series the feel and playability that most Acoustic and Electric guitar players prefer. In particular, the Fusion series has a warm sound, and the resonance brought by the spokes of a classical guitar.
All Fusion series guitars come pre-installed with Savares strings, providing the enjoyment most Crossover players desire.
While traditional classical guitars are designed with a wide and flat fingerboard, the Model Fusion 12 Natural has a slightly curved fingerboard similar to an Acoustic or Electric guitar. This curve is not easy to see if we look directly at the front of the fretboard, but if you look from the top of the neck down to the end of the neck, you will see that the neck has beveled edges on both sides, creating a slight curve.
The Cordoba Fusion 12 Natural neck has a radius of 16". Simply put, if you draw a circle following the same curve as the neck, the radius of that circle will be 16". Even though the curve is small, the extra space created for the top and bottom wires makes wire "bending" easier. Acoustic or electric guitar players may also like the curve that fits their hand as it will help them play nylon string guitars with their thumbs on top.
