When designing the YCL-450 Series, Yamaha conceived of it as an instrument that beginner players would want to continue playing well into the future. This is a musical instrument designed by Grenadilla with know-how gained through many years of experience in making professional-grade instruments.
Difference between YCL450 and YCL450N.
While the YCL-450's silver-plated keys give a softer and warmer sound, the YCL-450N's nickel-plated keys deliver a clear, focused tone.
New adjustable thumb rest and strap loop.
The new adjustable thumb rest accommodates a variety of hand sizes to help players develop consistent playing technique. Additionally, a strap loop allows the instrument to be held without effort. Stronger screws and silver solder rings give this new feature excellent durability.
Eb transpose option.
YCL-450 has an additional Eb tone conversion option.
Hard box.
Comes with a hard case for easy holding or wearing.
