The sound of the Kawai CA58 is an acoustic piano sound taken from two famous Shigeru Kawai SK-EX and Kawai EX Concert Grand Pianos. Kawai's proprietary modeling and sampling techniques capture all 88 individual keys to provide the most discerning players with the finest digital piano sound quality. Both pianos are faithfully reproduced with full 88-key sampling using advanced Harmonic Imaging audio technology, to set a new standard in digital piano sound quality.

Complementing the beautiful acoustic piano voice, the Kawai CA58 also features a choice of additional sounds, from electric pianos and organ or church organs, to strings, human choruses and synth pads, invites musicians to add variety to their performances.

Along with authentic sounds, the Kawai CA58 has a premium wooden keyboard. The Kawai CA58 has three pedals - soft, sostenuto and damping (with half damping). The new Grand Feel pedal system accurately replicates the position and individual weighting of the damper, soft and sostenuto pedals of a Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano for added piano-like authenticity acoustic piano.
