Casio Privia PX-850 inherits the quality of the famous previous generation, Privia PX-830, and is equipped with 12 additional features that are considered breakthroughs in the electric piano manufacturing industry.
Casio PX850 Electric Piano.
Applying Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR audio technology.
Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR technology is a multi-dimensional sound system created and exclusive by Casio. In other electric pianos, the sound is emitted right at the center of the speaker, so there are the following weaknesses: the closer the speaker is, the louder it sounds, the farther away it is, the softer it is; A person standing 1 meter away from the instrument will hear a different sound than the person playing the instrument; People standing right in the speaker's sound path will hear more clearly than people standing off that line. With AIR technology, the PX-850 creates a spherical area centered on the piano so that the sound at every point in that sphere is nearly the same. This technology helps listeners and players have the same sound experience. More specifically, the AiR system also produces a sound quality more similar to a Grand Piano than other electric pianos.
Hammer Response feature – allows adjusting the weight of the keys.
Casio PX850 Piano Keys.
When we press the keys on a piano, it will feel much heavier than on an organ, so players need to practice their finger strength to play a real piano. All electric pianos simulate heavy keys when pressed like an acoustic piano for players to practice. The breakthrough of the Piano PX-850 is that it allows adjusting the weight of the keys with 4 levels using the Hammer Response function.
4 audio output system.
Along with Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR sound technology, the PX850 Electric Piano has 4 sound outputs. Conventional electronic pianos always have 2 sound outputs made up of 2 speakers, so the sound still has the characteristics of an electric piano and is not spread evenly. The PX850's 4 audio outputs spread the sound evenly and warmly.
String Resonance feature – creates additional resonance of other strings.
When pressing a key on an acoustic piano while pressing and holding the pedal, the string of the key being played will vibrate strongly and transmit the vibration to the bridge, the bridge will transmit that vibration to all the strings in the piano. Because the pedal is being stepped on, the remaining strings will also vibrate at a very small amplitude, creating a background sound for the sound of the key that has just been played. On large stages, this very small sound is amplified into a loud sound. Background bass creates warmth for the sound. Electric pianos do not have this resonance function. The breakthrough in the PX-850 Electric Piano is that it is equipped with this function at 4 different resonance levels.
Function to simulate the sound of opening the lid of a Grand piano - LID Simulator.
Casio PX850 Electric Piano.
With the piano lid opened and closed, the PX-850 allows you to simulate the sound of a Grand Piano opening and closing the lid:
- Level 1: Sound like a Grand Piano closing the lid
- Level 2: Sounds like a Grand Piano opening the lid at a low level
- Level 3: Sounds like a Grand Piano opening the lid at a high level
- Level 4: Sound like a Grand Piano with the lid completely removed
USB slot.
The PX-850 electric piano is equipped with a USB slot that supports many features: recording, wav music playback.
Wav recording function.
The PX-850 is equipped with a Recorder recording function with Wav extension and can be saved to USB with the best sound quality.
Wav music playback function.
This is a breakthrough for learning piano, PX850 can play Wav music with USB. This will help Piano learners be able to play any music they want using the piano's speakers and play along to practice their fingers and sense of sound.
Chorus creation function.
Some modern electric pianos already have the function of creating chords when hitting multiple key combinations, the PX850 allows creating chords with 4 different levels.
3-level Touch function.
3-level Touch function.
This is the function of sensing a key when pressing hard will make a loud sound and if pressing lightly will make a soft sound. Most Organs and electric pianos today are equipped with this function. The improvement of the PX850 is to provide 3 levels of Touch or turn off the Touch function to suit each lyrical or vibrant genre of Piano.
Adjust the sustain of the guitar sound – Reverb.
When playing a sound, a Grand Piano will sustain longer than an Upright. Electric Pianos simulate this function of a Grand but are still limited in dynamic level. The PX850 allows adjusting this sustain at 4 different levels.
