The Ibanez S Standard is light enough for surprising comfort but also “heavy” enough for the tone and durability that players expect. The thin, fast Wizard III neck provides playability and comfort at the expense of response and speed. Exclusive Quantum pickups provide a full tonal range that creates a variety of playing possibilities while maintaining seamless engagement. The Ibanez S Standard is equipped with a simple but sturdy fixed bridge to adjust stability or an Edge Zero II tremolo to perform string ringing techniques, combined with scales to help players increase fingering speed faster.

Ibanez designed the Wizard neck to be thin, flat and sturdy, providing unlimited playability with 24 two-octave frets for a wider tonal range.

The Edge Zero II bridge design features a lower-profile tremolo for comfortable playing and a stable tuning locking function.
