Limited Edition Brent Mason Telecaster designed by Kyle McMillin is inspired by the Tele that Mason played on countless recordings and shows with the unique tone that made him one of the most famous artists in the world. To achieve this incredibly detailed recreation, we spent a memorable time working with Mason in Nashville - carefully disassembling his guitar, measuring every detail and Thoroughly inspect each part.
To be honest, it is difficult to distinguish this modal from the original custom model that Mason has played with over the years. From the black grease stains on the gray Heavy Relic® custom primer to the quarter-sawn Relic maple neck, this is a perfect recreation of the original guitar that has been with Mason for so long. The three-pack of Seymour Duncan® pickups includes a mini humbucker pickup in the neck, an '80s style hot-stack pickup in the middle of the body, and a classic Telecaster stack pickup in the bridge, all connected to an optional control panel. Adjustable with separate volume level for the mid-body pickup, push/pull tone button to disconnect the mid-body pickup, and 3-way switch.
Other custom features include an off-center-seam ash body, a 1967 “C” neck, and a thin, round quarter-sawn maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets and black dots. pearloid and the Joe Glaser B-Bender system for added Nashiville twang. Includes premium hardcase, strap and COA certificate.
